The core area of ??Pan'an Lake Wetland Park in Xuzhou City: bounded by the Xujia Expressway in the east, the sightseeing railway in the south, and the Tuntou River in the north. The total land area is approximately 15.98 square kilometers and is the heart of the entire Pan'an Lake Wetland Park.

Comprehensive service and landscape display area

The visitor service center is a comprehensive service and landscape display area for the entire wetland. It is composed of two large islands, and the center is the landscape contained by the two large islands. Shuiwan Wetland has an island area of ??410 acres and a construction area of ??36,000 square meters. The greening tree species are mainly metasequoia, bamboo, camphor, etc. Numerous functional buildings are arranged in this area combined with delicate wetland landscape plants. In the north are the departure pier, return pier, conference center, rural food street, wetland specialty shopping street, leisure cafe, Western food bar, tourist waiting area, etc. In the middle is the iconic Wetland Museum.

Wetland Conservation and Ecological Sightseeing Area

The island area of ??the Wetland Conservation and Ecological Sightseeing Area is about 2,000 acres. This area is the highlight of the Pan'an Lake Ecological Economic Zone. The tourist tour is a boat tour without landing on the island. It passes through a large area of ??aquatic reeds, cattails and cattails. This site is actually a wetland landscape experience. For this reason, an existing bird-watching plank path about 1 kilometer long is arranged along the passage, and 200 outdoor bird-watching telescopes are arranged, which can accommodate nearly a thousand people for bird-watching tours. Pipa Island is located on the east side of the central island on the north side of National Highway 310. The island covers an area of ??71 acres and has a planned construction area of ??9,800 square meters. The main greening tree species are pipa, tallow tree, persimmon, etc. The island integrates high-end dining, guest rooms, hot springs, and leisure and entertainment. The general layout has high-end dining and leisure and entertainment areas in the south, management sites in the north, and wetland inn in the middle.

Happy Island

Happy Island is located to the west of the main entrance, with an island area of ??177 acres and a construction area of ??7,500 square meters. The island is mainly a dynamic area. A large youth joy center will be built to carry out ecological sports, including slope surfing, high-altitude bungee jumping, and mountain slides. It expresses excitement, fun, adventure, and various expansion training activities.

Pan'an Ancient Village Island

Pan'an Ancient Village Island covers an area of ??102 acres, with a construction area of ??about 25,000 square meters. It is the largest island for overall wetland tours. The main greening tree species are peach trees, apricot trees, pomegranates, bamboos, osmanthus and local ancient trees. Relying on the two thousand-year historical and cultural heritage of "Pan'an", the island has formed Pan'an ancient streets, ancient temples and Pan'an market culture, as well as Pan'an's personal anecdotes. An ancient pagoda and a water temple are built on the island, with complete living facilities and ancient trees. It forms an ancient village of Pan'an that integrates sightseeing, leisure, dining and living, with "Pan'an" culture and lush ancient trees.

Butterfly Island

Butterfly Island is located in the northwest of Pan'an Lake Scenic Area, with an island area of ??101 acres and a construction area of ??about 10,000 square meters. The main greening tree species are French paulownia, ash, black locust, etc. The island revolves around rendering the butterfly-themed culture and is equipped with a butterfly exhibition hall. There are European-style churches, European-style streets and Western-style bars on the island. Create a European-style wedding venue and decorate some European-style villas among the trees.

Pomegranate Island

Pomegranate Island is located on the north side of Zuihua Island, close to the wetland on the west side, with an island area of ??63 acres and a construction area of ??4,500 square meters. Plants mainly composed of Eucommia ulmoides and Chinese medicinal materials are planted on the island. Among the lush woods and flowers, 12 health care clubs are arranged. They have four characteristics: plant health care, grain health care, spa health care, and leisure health care, forming an ecological health care base.

Shuirenjia Business Area

Shuirenjia Business Area is located in the northwest of the scenic spot, with an area of ??63 acres and a planned construction area of ??4,500 square meters on the island. Visitors can dine at the restaurant and fisherman's house on the water, and at the same time, they can experience farm folk culture at the large sightseeing pier of Pan'an Lake Folk Culture Village on the west side of the water house.

Zuihua Island

Zuihua Island is located in the west of Pan'an Lake Scenic Area, with an island area of ??64 acres and a planned construction area of ??about 1,800 square meters. The greening tree species on the island are mainly fragrant flower plants such as albizia julibrissin, lily, lily, pomegranate, rose and so on. There is a Chinese-style courtyard. The main building in the courtyard is a three-story ancient attic, which has typical northern architectural style and folk festive elements. At the same time, there is a Chinese-style tea tasting elegant residence.

Farmhouse

The farmhouse is located in the northwest of Pan'an Lake Scenic Area. It mainly consists of three parts: farmhouse building, folk stage and folk landscape square. Among them, the characteristic farmyard is 20,000 square meters, the folk custom stage is 2,000 square meters, and the folk landscape square is 30,000 square meters. The farmhouse is based on the pastoral scenery of the surrounding farmhouses. It is an idyllic living village with a strong northern rural flavor.

Statue of Shennong

On the westernmost side of Pan'an Lake, a 9.9-meter-tall statue of Shennong is a representative of the promotion of traditional Chinese farming culture.

The overall shape of the Shennong statue shows the strength and majesty of the tribal leader; it reflects the difficult living conditions of the ancient ancestors. Shennong held the scroll of Shennong's Baicao Jing with both hands and dedicated his whole life to the descendants of Yan and Huang, benefiting generations to come.

Twenty-Four Solar Terms Sculpture

The Twenty-Four Solar Terms Sculpture is square in shape and divided into three sections, implying the traditional Chinese cultural idea of ??the harmonious unity of "heaven, earth and man". The upper part of the sculpture is "Heaven", engraved with cloud patterns, sun and moon, which means good weather and good weather. The middle part of the sculpture is the core part. There are the names of the solar terms in seal script on the front and back sides. There are flowers corresponding to the solar terms carved on one side. The solar terms songs carved next to it explain the meaning of the solar terms in a simple and clear way. The other side is engraved with golden explanations of solar terms, expressing the content of solar terms to the viewer in detail; and the wheat ear pattern running through the top and bottom injects the connection between farming and solar terms into it. The bottom of the sculpture is "earth" and is engraved with landscape patterns, which means a good harvest and nourishment of all things. The content of the twenty-four solar terms combined with traditional Chinese medicine and health care is engraved on the sculpture, which embodies the Chinese nation's thinking about nature and human beings themselves, as well as the harmonious coexistence between man and nature in compliance with the four seasons and the unity of nature and man.
