questionnaire survey report on college students' consumption
1. Preface:
Consumption is an important part of lifestyle. College students, as a special consumer group, play an irreplaceable role in current economic life, especially in leading consumption fashion and improving consumption composition. At the same time, their consumption status and characteristics reflect modern students's living conditions and value orientation to some extent. As one of the contemporary students, and one of the college students who are deeply concerned about the economic development of China, we have completed this Survey Report through our group's in-depth investigation and data collection, and tried to interpret the current consumption status and trends of college students in Southwest University of Political Science and Law from the aspects of consumption intention, consumption consciousness and consumption psychology. Maybe our data is not authoritative enough, maybe our analysis is not accurate enough, but we have our own perspective, our own vision and our own methods. It represents our own voice. I hope that readers and all people who care about college students' consumption can grasp the current consumption trend of college students and interpret the new concept of college students' consumption through this survey report.
The reason for this survey is mainly based on the following two purposes: First, through the investigation of the current consumption situation of college students in Southwest University of Political Science and Law, we can find out the consumption composition and intention of college students in Chongqing at the beginning of the 21st century and the main factors that affect their consumption composition. Second, through the sampling survey of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, it tries to interpret the consumption concept, consumption consciousness and consumption psychology of college students in China.
The survey targets all the students in Southwest University of Political Science and Law. Questionnaire survey was conducted, which was divided into online questionnaire (sent by mail) and printed questionnaire. * * * Fifty students participated in the questionnaire, including all grades from freshman to senior, to ensure its representativeness as far as possible.
Second, the survey results and analysis:
At present, 65% of the monthly living expenses of students majoring in western politics are between 8 and 1,5, and 34% are below 8 yuan. In our survey, there are almost no students who live above 1,5. More than 98% of these living expenses come from parents' supplements. No matter in which grade from freshman to senior, in our survey, there are no students whose living expenses mainly depend on scholarships and work-study programs, but one freshman said that his living expenses come from other sources. It can be seen that as college students and adults, we mainly rely on our parents to study. Furthermore, we divided the living expenses into seven aspects: diet, communication expenses (telephone charges, internet charges, etc.), shopping (clothing, accessories), books, school supplies, daily necessities, communication, entertainment (movies, games, etc.) and other seven aspects. Among the respondents, 42% said that their main living expenses were in diet, and 22% said that they were in communication fees, namely telephone charges and internet charges. Combined with the previous situation, it can be concluded that the proportion of development materials in the consumption structure of college students' living consumption is expanding. At present, the proportion of college students' consumption to meet basic survival needs has decreased, while the proportion of consumption to improve the quality of life has been increasing, but the consumption to meet basic production needs still accounts for the main aspect. In addition, the consumption of college students is also multi-layered. Some students spend most of their living expenses on satisfying their own diet, while others spend a lot on communication and entertainment. Then, we asked whether their living expenses were in surplus. Among them, only 6% of the students said that they had a lot of surplus or not enough money, 54% said that they had a little surplus, and the remaining 34% said that they were just enough. This shows that the amount of living expenses given by college students < P > is mostly just right. Parents also fully consider the actual situation of their children when giving them living expenses. However, in the next question, we found that 46% of the students had no plan at all when spending, and they spent as much as they wanted. 3% of them were able to save money, and there was no reasonable consumption plan. Only 24% of the students spent in a planned way and had good consumption habits, which shows that contemporary college students urgently need to cultivate good consumption habits and develop the habit of planned consumption. When asked if they can't stop spending money in their passion, ***72% said they would or sometimes would, which also reflected the irrational consumption of college students. Fortunately, the next question, what do you pay attention to in consumption? 56% of the students said that they pay attention to quality, indicating the psychology of rational consumption, but 2% of the students still pay attention to low prices and 12% pay attention to brands or fashion. In terms of book purchase, the vast majority also said that they had bought books, but not much, only 18% bought them frequently, and 2% said that they had never bought them. Such students should read more books. Regarding the consumption of entertainment places, 32% said that they often go, 64% said that they sometimes go, 4% said that they have never been there, and no one said that they often go. Next, we asked our classmates about their consumption plan records. No one said that they kept detailed records of their own consumption, but 62% of the students kept records, and 38% of the students never recorded their own consumption at all. As for the consumption plan, 48% of the students said that they had a plan, but it was flexible, indicating that everyone still wanted to make a plan, but it was difficult to implement it. Some 34% of the students said that they had no plan at all, 12% said that they sometimes had a plan, and 6% said that they had a plan and could implement it as planned. Finally, we asked the students whether they were satisfied with their consumption. Most of them were satisfied or basically satisfied, and 14% were dissatisfied or very dissatisfied. It shows that most students have no strong desire to change their consumption habits.

The group privately discussed and summarized the statistical results to get the following feelings, and Yuan Youyou wrote the first draft, which was revised after group discussion.
In this questionnaire survey, 1 questionnaires were distributed, and 95 questionnaires were recovered, with a recovery rate of 95%, including 53 freshmen and 42 sophomores, accounting for 52.6% of boys and 47.4% of girls. Science and engineering students account for 75.8%, and liberal arts students account for 24.2%. The survey follows the principles of comprehensiveness, randomness, authenticity, rationality and scientificity. The investigation results are correctly handled and analyzed in detail, and feasible suggestions are put forward for the results.
consumption is an important and final link in the production process of society. It refers to the process of using social products to meet people's various needs. Consumption is divided into production consumption and personal consumption, the former refers to the use and consumption of material production and living labor; The latter refers to the behavior and process that people use the produced material materials and spiritual products to meet their personal needs. It is the only way to carry out life outside the production process, and it is an indispensable condition for restoring people's labor force and labor reproduction. Generally speaking, consumption refers to personal consumption. Production determines consumption, which in turn affects production. Because only in consumption can products become realistic products, glaciers have created new production needs. However, the purpose of production is not for consumption. For example, the bourgeoisie aims at exploiting the surplus value created by hired workers, which determines that our consumption is limited to a very small scope. At the same time, the purpose of socialist production is to meet the growing needs of people's material and cultural life, which eliminates the contradictory relationship between production and consumption, and consumption has also become a powerful driving force to promote the development of the whole society.
In the consumer market, college students are the most special group, and their consumption status is influenced by family and social conditions. This time, we made a survey on the consumption of freshmen and sophomores in Huxi Campus, and made detailed statistics on the specific consumption. On the whole, consumption has diversified characteristics. Consumption concept and consumption structure are also different. Through this survey, we can have some basic understanding of their psychological characteristics, behavior habits and behavior characteristics, and also expose some irrational consumption phenomena. I hope that through this questionnaire survey, we can cultivate and improve their consumption concept and financial management concept, and guide our colleagues to take the road of healthy consumption.
question 1: the basic monthly consumption of college students is generally not high, but there are also a few worrying consumption.
(1) Proportion of consumption: In this survey, consumers below 4 yuan accounted for
11.56%, 4-6 yuan accounted for 42.2%, 6-8 yuan accounted for 25%, and those above 8 accounted for 21.15%, among which the ratio of male to female was basically 1:1. (from question one)
conclusion analysis: from the above data, we can know that not all college students have a strong sense of consumption saving, because our consumption funds mainly come from family income, and a few come from their own part-time jobs. Everyone knows poor inherit the wind: they can't let their children affect their study at school because of financial problems, so they usually give more money, but some students spend money without restraint just because of this idea. On the other hand, it can also reflect that college students' self-regulation ability is not very strong. No matter in or out of school, when they see what they like, most people will choose to buy it. This conclusion can also be reflected from the questions in the questionnaire. (In the ninth question, 53.35% are yes and 46.65% are no) So it is precisely because of this randomness that the consumption of some people has increased; At the same time, because of the development of modern communication technology, the increase of various social activities, the spread of the atmosphere of urban life and the beginning of the psychological and physical growth of college students. Therefore, the inevitable falling in love and many other situations have caused the consumption of some people to increase. On the whole, it is satisfactory, because there are still a large number of students between 4 and 6. It reflects that most students' consumption concepts are still ok. After all, most of us have gradually matured and realized that it is not easy to make money, so they are still cautious when spending.
They will try their best to choose goods with good quality and low price, instead of blindly pursuing high brands. Therefore, the overall consumption is still satisfactory, and individual situations need to be improved.
(2) The distribution of consumption can be obtained from questions 2, 3, 1, 11, 13 and 15. The main aspects of consumption are still food and clothing. Eating accounts for 87.2%, clothing accounts for 1.4%, and other life consumption accounts for 1.15%, among which life consumption includes spiritual consumption, life consumption, mobile phone consumption and psychological consumption.
conclusion analysis: from the above data analysis, it can be seen that the consumption level tends to be stable, and it is an important issue for college students to eat. Of course, the proportion will be larger, but in addition to eating, we can also draw the following conclusion: clothing consumption is still at the peak. Investigate its reason, we can say from the following aspects, because clothes are a person's appearance, we enter the university as if we entered a small society, where we will pay attention to our own appearance and external image, because image is a very important condition for interpersonal communication, and a good image will leave a good impression on people. So it is reasonable to buy clothes. Secondly, we have to learn to communicate, not only to meet, but also to use some communication tools, such as mobile phones and surfing the Internet, so it accounts for a large proportion of consumption. (Question 11 shows that 25.9% are below 3 yuan, 54.15% are 3-5, 14.55% are 5-1, and 5.45% are above 1). This is also a very common phenomenon. However, mobile phone consumption is not only related to daily consumption, but also has a great connection with personal character. If people who are cheerful and like to make friends generally communicate more, their consumption will be relatively high. Of course, we can't unilaterally say that introverted students have low consumption. They can meet their psychological needs through online communication that is not positive.
(3) the scope of consumption: all the questions about consumption can be seen that the number of people in each consumption is basically the same.
conclusion analysis: because the college students come from different regions and the survey scope is relatively wide, the differences in region and personality, customs and living habits in hometown will affect our consumption from different aspects. So the number of people in each consumption segment is not very different. At the same time, it also conforms to the principle of diversification. After all, there will be no extreme phenomenon. Overall consumption still tends to be rational.
question 2: the study and practice of college students' consumption planning (that is, the rational planning of consumption and the concrete manifestation of rational consumption).
(1) consumption skills (this question can be seen in 9, 17 and 18). From the analysis and summary of the questionnaire, we can draw the conclusion that our consumption skills are not very mature. Because 46.5% people will choose to buy when they see whether the promotional products will be purchased, while 53.5% people will not choose to buy; When shopping with peers, most people will not choose to bargain, only 42.25% will choose yes. This shows that consumption skills are not suitable for handy.
conclusion analysis: bargaining in consumption, I think this is a very necessary problem. A person living in such a competitive society is full of many unscrupulous traders who drive up prices for profiteering. These phenomena are common in newspapers and TV. As important consumers in the life theme, it is necessary for us college students to learn bargaining skills. Because we college students are adults, we will soon independently assume all kinds of responsibilities in that family and society. It is necessary for us to have enough life skills to face the unpredictable society. Of course, on the other hand, human nature is social attribute, so we can't leave this society. We should have our own subjective consciousness and protect our own consumer rights, so that we will not be infringed.
(2) The consumption quota (this question can be reflected by questions 8 and 9) is limited for students who spend 58.8% of their money each month, while 41.2% will not. Question 9: "Will you buy something you like when you see it, but the consumption this month is full?" 46.65% people choose yes, and 53.35% people choose no. From this, it is concluded that the consumption limit is a personal living habit, which is diverse and uncertain.
conclusion analysis: on the one hand, the unlimited consumption limit is because students may have the psychology of pursuing fashion, so they will buy what they like regardless of reducing their other expenses. At the same time, some students spend too much because of love, although this question
