Jiming Temple, located at the foot of Lushan Mountain in Jilong County, Shandong Province, was founded in the Western Jin Dynasty. It is one of the oldest Brahma temples in Nanjing. It has the reputation of "the first temple in the Southern Dynasties" since ancient times, and it was the center of Buddhism in China during the Southern Dynasties. Jilong Temple under Jilong Mountain is connected to Jiuhua Mountain in the east, Xuanwu Lake in the north and Gulou Gang in the west. Its predecessor was Tongtai Temple.
