Do you know these details of the oven? Sharing of buying and using experience of Haishi C40

After having a baby, my family purchased a lot of small kitchen appliances. Some small appliances have a very high usage rate if you buy the right one; some small appliances basically sit idle and gather dust if you choose the wrong one. Here are two examples: First, when purchasing a bread machine, I liked Panasonic’s dual-temperature control design, which has a very high success rate in making bread. It needs to be used several times a week, and the frequency of use is quite high. Second, when I was buying an oven, I had no room to install a built-in oven in my kitchen, so I just bought an entry-level mechanical oven. It was very inconvenient to use without a furnace light or preheating, and it fell into disuse after being used a few times.

Some time ago, my wife finally couldn’t stand the oven at home, so she bought a Haishi C40 oven with electronic temperature control. Although it is an entry-level oven, it feels pretty good after using it. Now I would like to share with you my experience of using it, as well as my summary of the things to pay attention to when buying an oven.

Needless to say, the appearance of Haishi C40 electric oven is beautiful! The capacity of 40L is suitable. This one comes in pink, blue, and green colors, and I like the blue the best. The light blue cabinet + black front panel gives it a fresh and delicate feel.

The lower part of the panel is the English name of Hauswirt and the machine model C40. The red LOGO is the finishing touch, adding a bit of agility.

This oven has good design and workmanship, and the details are well taken care of. There are Heidegger's LOGO patterns on the sides and back, and the hollow patterns on the top and sides are also different. It is necessary to reserve a certain amount of heat dissipation space when placing the oven. There are two thick distance bars on the back of Haishi C40. The heat in the oven rises, and the rising heat accumulates between the oven liner and the outer shell. The heat dissipation holes on the top of the oven help the accumulated heat dissipate in time, preventing long-term high temperatures from affecting the service life of the electronic components inside the oven. .

The inside of the door handle is anti-slip.

The C40 is available in single-door and double-door options, and the price difference is tens of yuan. The double door uses double-layer sealed glass with a thickness of about 22mm. The inner glass is fixed by the inner door frame without leakage. When glass is exposed to the outside, it is easily damaged by bumps. The thickness of the door has a greater impact on the thermal insulation. Thin doors will have relatively poor thermal insulation. They will lose heat quickly, consume more power, and the food will be unevenly colored where it is against the glass door.

The number of hinges is related to the service life of the door. A single hinge has a small load-bearing capacity and is easily deformed after being used for a period of time, causing problems such as the door being crooked, the door not closing tightly, and the door opening and closing making abnormal noises. There is a door hinge on the left and right sides of Haishi C40. The door has several opening positions and can be opened according to needs to reduce unnecessary heat loss.

There are heat insulation strips on the door frame of the Haishi C40 inner pot, which can prevent the rising heat from escaping from the top gap of the oven door to a certain extent. It has a higher heat utilization rate and can block the oil fumes during the barbecue process. The top of the door crack overflows.

The inside of the oven is made of baked enamel and is made of anti-oil material, which has higher heat collection efficiency and more uniformity. There is also a removable slag collecting tray at the bottom, making it easier to clean after use. There are three heating tubes at the top and bottom of the oven, with built-in dual NTC temperature probes to feedback the temperature difference, and then the temperature difference is automatically adjusted through the PID temperature control chip to achieve precise temperature control. Built-in explosion-proof oven light makes it easy to check the status of food.

The machine has 9 built-in menus: chiffon, toast, biscuits, egg tarts, melted beans, pizza, roasted chicken, fermentation, and dried fruit. The menu is displayed in Chinese. Compared with ovens that use icon displays and have to select menus based on serial numbers, the operation of Haishi C40 is more intuitive and easy to understand and select. After selecting the menu, you can adjust the temperature of the upper and lower tubes at will, and you can also turn on the hot air function.

I personally don’t like ovens that are all adjusted by buttons. When adjusting parameters with a wide range such as time and temperature, you need to press a lot. Haishi C40 adjusts settings through stepless knobs. The knob functions correspond one to one. The menu functions on the screen are always visible. The minimum is 1 micro-adjustment. The user understands the precise parameters through the LED screen, and the control experience is great.

In addition to accessories such as baking pans, baking forks, baking grids, and rack removers, the oven also comes with gourmet recipes. I especially like this cookbook customized by Hai's bakers. It is illustrated and easy to understand. There are many ways to make simple but delicious Western pastries in the recipes, but there are many ingredients that I don’t have at home yet, so I can only try them later.

I like this rack remover. It is very convenient to remove the grill net and the baking pan.

I have baked sweet potatoes in a mechanical oven at home before, but they were either raw or overcooked. I saw that Hai's C40 has a roasting sweet potato function, so I wanted to try it. First lay the baking net with tin foil, then wipe away the water stains from the washed sweet potatoes and put them on it.

There is no roasting sweet potato function on the menu, but it is included in the complimentary recipe. Adjust the temperature to 200°C and the time to 25 minutes. There is no need to stir in the middle, just wait for the time to be up. For sweet potatoes, lower the temperature slightly and increase the cooking time.
