When talking about Fuzhou, you must know "Buddha Jumps Over the Wall". There are other delicacies, but they are by no means as famous as this delicacy. I have been to Fuzhou several times and also tasted delicious delicacies. Let me tell you a few.
1. Buddha Jumps Over the Wall
It is so famous that the first time I heard about Buddha Jumping Over the Wall was in Stephen Chow’s God of Cookery. There are abalone, shark's fin, and tendons in it. It's so delicious!
2. Fish balls
In Fuzhou, you can often see fish balls in restaurants and banquets, which is a local specialty.
3. Meat Yanyan
This one is delicious because the meat filling is wrapped in it. The appearance is crystal clear, a bit like wontons.
4. Taro paste
On the first day, their flight arrived late and they arrived at Changle Airport at around nine o'clock. I drove directly to pick them up and went straight to Changle Zhanggang. I came first. Have a late-night snack of clams and seafood hotpot, then go to the city to settle down and stay at the Hot Spring Jinyuan Hotel. Then early in the morning, they were dragged up to climb Jinji Mountain (nearby). Then go to Sanfang Qixiang, first visit the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum of Former Residences of Celebrities, and then go to Antai Building for snacks at noon (although it may not be the most authentic, but at least it is complete, basically all in Fuzhou). In the afternoon, we took the family through Wushan on Nanhou Street and around the scenic area. Then we went straight to Juchunyuan’s Private Kitchen on Nanhou Street to eat Buddha Jumping Over the Wall (reservation must be made three days in advance). After dinner, we went to the foot of Pingshan Mountain. Soak in the golden hot springs, overlook the legendary Zhenhai Tower, and then rest.
The next day, we drove straight to Lianjiang Huangqi early in the morning. We first visited the fishing port, then had breakfast at the fishing port and bought some dry goods. Then we went back to Tailu to see the Pingliuwei Geopark. We briefly dealt with it at noon and went to Qi in the afternoon. In Dayu Village, you can play mahjong on the beach, go fishing, dig for shells, etc., and serve fish steaks and eat seafood in the evening.
On the third day, we first went up to Gushan in the morning, then went down to Benmawei Coal Wharf to eat some unique seafood at the intersection of the river and the sea, then took a look at the Benmawei Free Trade Zone, and then caught the train to Xiamen~
It’s okay to eat this thing for the first time, but it’s a bit boring after eating it again
5. Yuanxiao
Meat Yuanxiao, the sweet ones are called glutinous rice balls, of course Nowadays, many people don’t think so.
