After I came back from this trip, I realized that the village we went to is now called Yaoshang Village, which is located at the Shaanxi-Henan border in the southeast of Tongguan County 10 km. Because the Laozhai site is a natural military fortress. According to legend, when Li Shimin was the King of Qin, he led troops to camp here, so it was also called the King of Qin Village.

Not far from the north of Qinwangzhai, there is a crystal clear spring. "Continued Tongguan County Records" said: "When Emperor Taizong was the king of Qin, soldiers were stationed here. Without water, scholars are thirsty and bitter. This is a horse's place. When the horse runs (seeps), the spring water suddenly gushes out. You have to drink it. " Later generations called this spring "Mawei Spring".
