Kaifeng TV station was established on September 1, 1985. At that time, there were more than 20 employees in the station. The equipment only had one camera and an editing machine. It broadcast a 10-minute self-produced program "Kaifeng News" once a week.

After more than 20 years of hard work and development, it currently has five channel resources, which are spread through wireless transmission and wired transmission.

More than two hours of self-made programs are produced every day, with a daily broadcast volume of 18 hours.

It has now become the most influential media in the Central Plains.
