Nansan Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Zhenkang County, lincang City, Yunnan Province. It is located in the southwest of Yunnan Province, in the west of lincang, in the middle of the China-Myanmar border. Nansan Town is connected with Muchang Township in the east, Mengding Town in Gengma County in the south, Kokang County in Shan State, Myanmar in the west and Fengwei Town and Mengdui Township in the north. It is the resident of Zhenkang County and the political, economic, cultural and commercial center of the county.

Nansan transnational karst cave
The Nansan transnational karst cave tourist area covers an area of about 3 square kilometers, and it is named as a transnational karst cave because one cave in the karst cave group spans China and Myanmar. Tanghedong Paleolithic Site. Located 5 meters east of Nanwengba rubber field in Junnong, Nansan Town, the cave is about 1 meters high and 25 meters wide. The direction of the entrance is 31 degrees northwest, and the vertical height with Nanpian River is about 25 meters. So far, artifacts such as stone tools, cutting and tooth-smashing fossils have been found in the cave. According to the research of the cultural relics department at the higher level, the cave dates from 1, to 1, years ago and is a typical ancient human site.

the paleontological fossil point of Guanyin cave in Nansan. Located 1 meters east of Nansan Town Middle School, there are three holes in the vertical limestone stone wall. In December 24, three stone tools were discovered again by provincial and municipal archaeologists, including one national third-class cultural relic.
