The difference between tofu cream and butter cream is that tofu cream is made entirely of soy products, while butter cream is made entirely of cream products. Because cream contains a lot of lactose, it tastes sweeter and creamier. Because tofu cream has a strong beany smell, it needs to be combined with other ingredients and sugar to achieve a creamy taste. 1. Preparation of tofu cream. The ingredients required include old tofu, honey and soy milk. Boil the water in the pot until it boils, then put the tofu into the pot, simmer over low heat for five to ten minutes, remove it and put it on a sieve, and wait for the tofu to cool down. Then put a heavy object on the tofu. The heavy object will compact the tofu and the water in the tofu will leak into the basin through the screen. After an hour, cut the pressed tofu into cubes. Put the tofu into the dish, add an appropriate amount of honey, and start stirring. During the stirring process, add an appropriate amount of soy milk to mix according to the consistency of the tofu. Finally, the tofu cream is creamy, delicate and shiny, and the tofu cream is completed. Tofu cream can be used instead of butter for decoration. Because of its low fat and low calories, it is very popular among people. Because the beany smell is relatively strong, many people like to add appropriate cocoa powder, matcha powder, etc., which not only eliminates the beany smell, but also makes the color more attractive. . Tofu cream can only be stored for 2 to 3 days if refrigerated.
2. Production of cream. Ingredients required include butter, icing sugar and whipping cream. First, press the butter with a spoon until it softens, then add an appropriate amount of powdered sugar. Note that sucrose cannot be used instead of powdered sugar. Then use a mixer to beat the butter and icing sugar slightly until the first time it turns white. Then add the light cream and start whipping it for the second time. After repeating the operation several times, the cream in the basin turns completely white. The buttercream is finished. Buttercream can be stored for a week at room temperature.
