Daishan Island is located in Houshayang in the northeast of Daishan Island. It is named after it is located at the foot of Lulan Mountain. The beach is 3,600 meters long from north to south and about 500 meters wide from east to west. The sand is fine and hard, and the beach slope is gentle and iron-grey, so it is known as the "Ten Thousand Steps of Iron Sand". Liu Menglan, a poet of the Qing Dynasty, once wrote a poem praising: "The flat sandy beach surrounds the sea corner, and the foot of Lulan Mountain is also a famous area. Transportation

1. External transportation

Departure from Shanghai: 7:30 am You can take a speedboat to the tourist distribution center near the terminal of Nanpu Bridge Route 43 (suggested itinerary: shuttle bus to Luchao Port (1 hour), take speedboat to Daishan (2 hours), the boat and boat fare is 110 yuan/person.) It’s about 11 : You can reach Daishan between 30-12:00.

Departing from Ningbo: Take the expressway from Ningbo city all the way, cross the Zhoushan Cross-sea Bridge in about 50 minutes, then take a ferry to Sanjiang Pier, and arrive at Daishan in about 50 minutes.

2. Internal transportation

Daishan has opened tourist bus No. 1, passing through important sites such as Shanwai Passenger Terminal, New District Bus Station, Typhoon Museum, Xiao'ao B&B Village, and Dongsha Ancient Town. Ticket prices range from 5 yuan to 10 yuan. The first and last train time is 8:15-17:30. When you arrive at Daishan, please remember not to charter a car. Because the fare there is not cheap.
