1. Hanging Temple: Located between the cliffs of Cuiping Peak on the west side of Jinlong Gorge, Hengshan Mountain, hun yuan, Datong City, Shanxi Province, it was originally called "Xuan Kong Pavilion", while "Xuan" was derived from the teachings of Taoism in China, while "Kong" was later renamed as "Hanging Temple" because the whole temple is like hanging on a cliff.
2. Yungang Grottoes: Yungang Grottoes are located at the southern foot of Wuzhou (Zhou) Mountain, about 16 kilometers west of Datong City, Shanxi Province in northern China, and on the northern bank of Wuzhou River. The grottoes are excavated along the mountain and extend for about 1 km from east to west. There are 45 main caves, 252 grottoes, and more than 51, stone sculptures. It is one of the largest ancient grottoes in China, and it is also known as the four major grottoes art treasures in China along with Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, Luoyang Longmen Grottoes and Tianshui Maijishan Grottoes.
3. Pingyao Ancient City: Pingyao Ancient City is located in the middle of Shanxi Province. It was founded in the period of Zhou Xuanwang, and was expanded in the third year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (137), with a history of more than 2,7 years. It still retains the basic features of the county seat in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is the most complete existing ancient city in Han nationality areas of China.
4. Wutai Mountain: Wutai Mountain is located in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, between 38 55'-39 66' north latitude and 113 29'-113 39' east longitude, with a planned scenic area of 67 square kilometers and an administrative jurisdiction area of 436 square kilometers. Wutai Mountain is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China.
5. Yanmenguan: Located in Yanmen Mountain, about 2 kilometers north of Daixian County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, China, it is an important pass on the Great Wall. It is known as "the first pass in China" and has the saying that "there are nine blockages in the world, and Yanmen is the head". Together with Ning Wuguan and Pianguan, it is called the "three external customs".
