The People's Republic of China was founded. In October 195, the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and the Ji 'an prefectural party committee established the Jinggangshan Special Zone in Ciping, which was under the jurisdiction of suichuan county.

In 1957, the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee sent 5 provincial and municipal directly under the authority cadres to Jinggangshan.
