Donghai Island is located in the southeast of Zhanjiang City, and together with the three southern islands, it forms the gateway to Zhanjiang Port.

Since the construction of the cross-sea embankment in 1958, Donghai Island is no longer an isolated island.

Starting from the city, you can drive 23 kilometers to Dongshan Town in Ruxin, and then walk 20 kilometers east to reach the "Donghai Island Provincial Tourist Resort".
