1. Nalongla Duck: Nalongla Duck is a local native duck raised with the characteristics of high forest coverage, abundant water resources and dense rivers and ditches in Nalong Town as the main raw material. Its production tradition began in the 196s, and it still retains the traditional craft of manual refining and natural air drying. It does not contain any chemical components and is a veritable green food.
2. Tuolusha Cake: Tuolusha Cake is mainly produced in the urban area of Tuolu Town and nearby villages. The main varieties are bean paste, bean paste, assorted, yunpian and crystal, and its main raw materials are glutinous rice flour, sugar, mung bean powder, lard and peanut oil. Seasonings include candied winter melon, sweet meat, dried chicken skin, sesame, etc. It is made by hand through traditional formula, and has the characteristics of rich, oily, sweet and delicious taste. It enjoys a good reputation both inside and outside the region and is a good gift for friends and relatives.
3. Jiangzhou Pickled Sauerkraut: Jiangzhou Pickled Sauerkraut is pickled with big meat mustard. When the vegetables are harvested, they are first dried in the ground. After the vegetables are softened, they are taken back to rub salt for dehydration. After dehydration, they are put into a big crock and soaked in salt water for pickling. In the salt rubbing process, white sugar can be added appropriately. Generally, more than 1 kg of white sugar is put in 2 kg of vegetables, so that the pickled sauerkraut will be good in color, not salty in taste, and crisp and fragrant. At present, Jiangzhou sauerkraut sells well in Pingxiang, Guangdong, Fujian and other places, and is resold to ASEAN countries such as Vietnam. Small sauerkraut is served on the table of foreigners.
4. Tuolu moon cake: Tuolu moon cake is mainly produced in Tuolu town, with a long history and unique flavor. Traditional Tuolu moon cakes include Wuren moon cakes, Wuren sweet meat moon cakes, Wuren barbecued moon cakes, lotus seed moon cakes, etc. The raw materials are mainly glutinous rice, flour, sugar, sesame seeds, peanut kernels, walnut kernels, red melon seeds, sweet meat, lotus seed, barbecued pork, etc. Through the traditional formula, it is handmade and baked at a certain temperature, so that it has pure stuffing, unique taste and good taste.
5. Bamboo-tube rice: Bamboo-tube rice is one of the common special foods of ethnic minorities in Guangxi. There are abundant bamboos in Lingnan area. Pingxiang's climate and environment are very suitable for the growth of bamboos. The climate in the territory belongs to subtropical transition, with abundant sunshine, sufficient heat, warm and humid rainfall, and long frost-free period, which is suitable for the growth of many plants, especially bamboos. Pingxiang has a long history of planting, using and processing bamboo. According to records, Pingxiang's use of bamboo processing tools appeared as early as the Warring States Period, and bamboo as a tool for processing food is very distinctive, because bamboo has a clear fragrance, and bamboo tube rice is to put rice and water in bamboo knots and bake them after sealing, which can better maintain the fragrance of bamboo.
