Sailimu Lake, called "Jinghai" in ancient times, is located in the northern Tianshan Mountains of Bole, Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, adjacent to Huocheng County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture. The elevation of the lake is 207 1 m, 30 km from east to west and 25 km from north to south, covering an area of 453 square kilometers, with a storage capacity of 2 1 100 million cubic meters, crystal clear and transparent 12 meters.
