Xueye Lake is located in the southeast of Jinan, about 60 kilometers away. From the Second Ring Expressway on Fenghuang Road to Ganggou, take the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway. They are full of green pines and cypresses, and occasionally encounter patches of peach groves, with fiery peach blossoms, like the red clouds. At the beginning, the tunnels were dense and vehicles were passing through the heart of the mountain. In the second half of the journey, the mountain gradually eased, and the vehicle drove halfway up the mountain, and the scenery became increasingly sweeping.

After getting off the highway at Xueye Interchange, follow the navigation and drive to the lake. The lake is wide and endless, and in the distance you can only see the water and the sky, which are connected to the mountains. The water is dark green, the sky is dark blue, and the mountains are indigo.

The temperature in the mountains is low, and the winter jasmine flowers on the roadside are in full bloom. They are golden and the branches raised high are swaying in the wind, like waving arms, greeting passers-by.

There are willows and crabapples in bud by the lake. A peach grove is located on the south-facing hillside. Pink peach blossoms are in bloom, as delicate as beauties, attracting many tourists to stop.

The waves on the lake surface are slightly rippled with silvery light, jumping and twinkling.

The cruise ship was sailing on the lake, the spring breeze was blowing, and the sun was just right.

I guess the special delicacies here are Snow Lake Fish Head and Fried Chicken. Almost every restaurant has these two items on their signboard.

It is said to be a fish head, but it is actually a whole fish feast. In each basin, there is a big fish. The smallest one weighs six pounds. The fish head is divided into two halves and the fish tail is placed alone. It is said that The specialty here is that the fish head is made into soup, and the fish tail is steamed in a pot and then poured into the soup.
