Guangxi customs and traditional culture:
1. Wuming Zhuang people hold a song fair on March 3rd
March 3rd, which is a tradition of the Zhuang people and is very common in all parts of Guangxi. Among them, Wuming March 3rd Song Fair is famous for its large scale and distinctive features! Since 211, Wuming District has held a grand song fair every year, which focuses on Luoyue culture of Zhuang nationality and shows Wuming's profound national cultural traditions. On March 3rd, the whole streets and alleys of Wuming became a world of songs and dances. In addition to singing folk songs, there are also traditional entertainment activities of Zhuang people, such as throwing hydrangeas, grabbing fireworks and jumping bamboo poles.
2. Binyang Fireworks and Dragons Festival
Qian Shan wakes up after the cannon shock, and the dragon is thriving. Binyang Fireworks and Dragons Festival has a long history. It was selected into the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list in June 28, and it is held every year on the 11th day of the first lunar month, attracting hundreds of thousands of local people and tourists. Binyang Fireworks and Dragons Festival has unique folk performances such as dragon and lion dance team, majestic dragon and drum team, fairy horse, Zhuang Brocade, Cai Feng, colorful frame, stilt walking and so on.
3. Longlin Yi Torch Festival
Longlin Yi Torch Festival enjoys the reputation of "the first night of China ethnic customs" and "Oriental Carnival Night". In 26, the State Council was approved to be included in the first national intangible cultural heritage list. It is held every year on the 24th of June in the lunar calendar. On this day, the Yi people wear national clothes, light torches, form a circle hand in hand, and sing and dance.
4. Ox King Festival
Every year on October 12th of the lunar calendar, a lively Ox King Festival is held in the sand in western Guangxi. On the festival of the King of the Ox, Sally people will dress up in costumes, blow horns, play suona, carry paper models and sacrifices of the bull's head, dress up the cows in red, sing and dance, and hold various programs. The highlight of the whole festival was the Bull King Championship. When the referee shouted, the master let go of the reins, and the two bulls bowed to each other to start a fierce fight. The surrounding audience held their breath and watched the game. When they met with wonderful moments, they applauded and cheered loudly. The audience was very lively!
5. Jinshan Fireworks Festival
The Zuozhou Jinshan Fireworks Festival in Chongzuo City is the third batch of intangible cultural heritage at the autonomous region level in Guangxi, and it is held on February 29th of the lunar calendar every year. On this day, the local people will hold a grand tour of Guanyin, and the Jinshan sisters dressed in costumes will carefully carry out the statue and ask Guanyin Bodhisattva to leave the temple to send blessings.
