A man once said that a wonderful kung fu film requires not only the leading actor's skill, but also the villain's opponent with a kung fu background. This kind of action drama is good-looking. Most of the villains in Jet Li's movies have a good martial arts background, from Di Wei, Ren Shiguan, Zan Zidan, Xiong Xinxin and Siu-ho Chin to Chiu Man-Cheuk, Zhou Bili, Ni Xing and Yu Rongguang (and the villain in "Eternal Dragon Slayer")

The villain in The Five Ancestors of New Shaolin is Ji Chunhua from the Mainland. Jet Li and Ji Chunhua have cooperated several times, starting with Shaolin Temple.
