Here I am with God
The ancient Greek historian Herodotus wrote in the 5th century BC that Egypt "has more wonders than any other country in the world", but it was the temples and pyramids of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs that he was in awe of. Lu
Keso is the place with the highest concentration of Egyptian temples. It is located in the Nile River Gorge area in southern Egypt. It was built on the ruins of an ancient city with a history of 4,000 years. It was once the capital of the most prosperous and powerful empire in history and was divided into Luxor and the Nile River.
The east bank and the west bank, the west bank is the old city, and most of the ruins are clustered on the west bank. I live on the east bank, and Luxor is an important ruin on the west bank. I can only check in with the one-day tour group, Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon, and Kazakhstan.
The Temple of Teshepsut is one of the important attractions in Luxor, but the group of individual tourists on the day trip all know that the trip ends at Karnak Temple in Luxor around 2 p.m.
The last temple I wanted to visit was the Karnak Temple, which I entered at 10 a.m. There were many tour groups and I felt at ease here today. This is my favorite of all the attractions in Luxor.
After noon, the tourists in the temple were almost gone. In the Karnak Temple, I found a shady corner and stopped moving. If it were a bigger temple, would I be the only one left in this corner, watching the gods for thousands of years?
... Here I am with the gods. Looking up, the colors of the stone murals on the pillars of the temple are still there under the blue sky. The gaps between the pillars and the top beams have long been the residence of birds, and Amon and Mut.
Where do the three gods of Thebes live? The Temple of Karnak is a complex of temples, pavilions, towers and obelisks.
Built by Mut and Khons, it is also a symbol of the glorious years of the Egyptian pharaohs. After more than 1,500 years of construction, Karnak has essentially become the temple of the god Amun, which is the residence of the god in the mortal world.
We walked out of the Temple of Luxor intentionally or unintentionally. It was sunset, and the sunlight filtered in from the pillars of the temple, making the murals and statues on the pillars look more dreamy and mysterious.
Under this light and shadow, it seems that I have traveled through thousands of years and returned to the era of the Pharaohs. Since this is a travel note, I will continue to write about the bloody plot I encountered in Luxor. I came out of the temple and wandered along alone.
Walking towards the hotel on the bank of the Nile, this section of the road is beautiful, both ends are blocked, you can only walk, it is clean and quiet, and my mind still stays on the temple. Karnak Temple is the one in the movie "On the Nile".
"Tragedy on the Nile" is one of the filming locations. I started Baidu "Tragedy on the Nile" with my mobile phone. I wanted to look back at the plot of the movie that I had long forgotten. I just opened two web pages and just kept my head down and read the plot on my mobile phone.
Suddenly, someone reached out to grab my phone from behind, but he was standing in front of me. I stood still, and he looked at me. He was less than 2 meters away and suddenly realized that he was trying to grab me.
My cell phone. I immediately turned around and shouted: Police...Police.Help me...At this time, I realized that there was no one in sight. Fortunately, when I turned around and shouted, he also turned around at the same time.
I ran in the opposite direction. I knew there was a police officer 100 meters away when I turned back. I saw them when I passed by and they even said hello to each other.
After running about 30 meters, three policemen ran out of the house in front.
The man who snatched my phone was still there, standing and talking to a man walking out of the road. The man didn't stop him.
Well, when the police asked me, the man who robbed me ran away and disappeared.
The man standing in front of me talking also came towards us and talked to the police. The police did not chase me, but asked the man to take me back to the hotel.
You deserve to be robbed. No matter which country or place you are in, you cannot lower your head and just look at your phone without observing your surroundings.
I didn't walk far, and when I saw the intersection, forget it, I'd better leave on my own.
