Handbook

This is the third time I have participated in Maizi’s handbook course. I really like her ideas, and her philosophy is very close to mine. You don’t need too many tools to make a handbook.

Although I am a big hand shopper and I can set up stalls around my handbags at home, but I really just like to buy and buy, not use them much.

Handbook is a way of life, I particularly agree with this statement.

A personal handbook style can completely reflect the person's lifestyle.

Efficiency-type people's diaries naturally tend to have a rational and efficient style, with relatively concise bujos, to-do lists, etc., while literary and artistic people's diaries naturally also follow a literary, fresh and artistic style, and there will be comparisons in the diaries.

The more hand-drawn and recorded, the more life details will be revealed.

Maizi gave two basic standards: a fixed format and a form with weekly and monthly plans.

My understanding of fixed format is that having a fixed format can reduce the time of thinking about what to write and the trouble of designing modules. Moreover, with a fixed format, it will be easier to form your own writing notebook sop, which can help novices quickly develop

The habit of writing a diary and the weekly plan and monthly plan tables facilitate us to extend the dimension of time to a week or a month, and use a holistic perspective to plan and arrange our own time itinerary.

In this way, the time we have will not be limited to 24 hours a day, but 24*7 hours a week.

In this way, you will be more flexible in arranging your study life and family time, and there will be less pressure. In addition, you will have more time to complete the project, and the quality of the completed project will be higher.

Even so, I still like my Dianzhen book very much. Maybe I am not a purely efficient person, but the soul of a literary young woman still lives in my heart. Maizi’s efficiency manual recommends 5 types, namely HOBO.

weeks, KOKUYO self, function, Jiukoushan work series, early efficiency manual and early very few manuals.

I have used some of these notebooks, but have not insisted on them.

This book has the same layout as HOBO weeks, but because it overlaps with the weekly plan in my own diary, it is useless.

I started to read the efficiency manual as soon as possible and persisted in using it for a month and a half. I always thought about how to use it, which turned writing the notebook into a burden. Since the running-in was not successful, I gave up on my own initiative.

I have been using the "Very Few Manual" for about a month. The reason why it is called "The Very Few Manual" is really not wrong. It is about what to eat every day, how much water to drink, and dividing the daily time into half an hour to record. Isn't it true?

It is difficult for self-disciplined people to face.

Maizi also gave some tips, such as font size, line spacing, alignment, and not using too many colors when writing.

Some of my own experiences are that your handwriting may not be as beautiful as calligraphy, but it must be written stroke by stroke.

Perhaps our current reading is mainly printed, and we are accustomed to seeing square characters. At this time, regular script or even running script has no advantage when displayed by hand. The second point is to leave blank space.

Leaving blank space can make the entire white surface look neat and comfortable. The third point is partitioning.

Partitions can be made by using borders or dividing lines. Having partitions will also make the account more concise and beautiful.

I once wrote an article on how to write a journal? You can write a journal even if you don’t know how to draw. At the end of the course, Maizi kindly suggested a way to get rid of your journal tools - clean your journal tools regularly.

For hand accounting tools that have been stored for more than a month and have not been used, you can basically clean them out by giving them away or transferring them second-hand.
