Chen Tim Kee - Heirloom Fish Skin ★★★Address: The second store in Alley 3, Shifufu, Baohua Road, the second Chen Tim Kee only sells three snacks: Heirloom Fish Skin, Steamed Chee Cheong Fun with Soy Sauce and Traditional Ting Tsai Porridge.
According to Chen Bo, Chen Tianji opened a store on the original Tiyun Road in 1937, and opened a food stall on Baohua Road after liberation.
Chen Tim Kee's popularity is always very high, and it basically takes you 3-4 minutes to find a seat every time you go.
Chen Tianji (Shifufu Sanxiang Branch) is most famous for its cool fish skin, which is made from mackerel skin and is frozen after being cooked.
It's very refreshing, and with peanuts, coriander and soy sauce and sesame on top, it tastes great.

Every time I passed by, I would grab my mother and take me to eat a mango ice cream.

But when talking about the most famous braised sausage in Guangzhou, how can we not mention the "Yinji" braised sausage that started in Xiguan?
Yinji's old store is located in an inconspicuous location on Wenchang North Road. It was originally just a small place, but so many people came here because of its reputation that the store was so crowded that people had to wait in line and even occupied the sidewalk for business.
The old store was renovated, but it still couldn't stop the flow of people, and the business was booming, so branches were gradually opened on Shangjiu Road, Huifu East Road, Dongchuan Road and other places.
Yinji Rice Roll Shop (Wenchang Branch) Yinji Rice Roll Shop (Wenchang Branch) was run by Wu Yin in the early days of liberation. Because she was a famous master, she learned the expertise of steaming rice rolls. The rice rolls are as white as snow and as thin as snow.
Paper, shiny, smooth and delicious, especially the Guyouhuang Beef Intestine, which is thin, tough and smooth, attracting customers. It is very popular and famous for a while. In 1983, it won the title of Guangzhou Famous Snack.
The most famous one here is the shrimp sausage with king leek, especially the fresh shrimp, red shrimp and yellow king leek. It can be said to be full of color, flavor and mouth-watering.

Next to Lychee Bay, close to Panxi Restaurant, it was founded in 1981 and has a history of more than 30 years.
Although it is not as famous as Yinji rice rolls, the rice rolls here are also outstanding, especially the mandarin duck intestines, which are refreshing and smooth. There are two mainstream schools of making sausages. Yinji is the representative of steamed rice rolls, and Mingji is the representative of drawer style.
It is also a classic of the kind of unique old store hidden in Xiguan.
According to the founder of Mingji Rice Roll, Mr. Chen Hanming, the method of making rice rolls originated from his great-grandfather. His grandfather had opened a rice shop before and was proficient in making rice. The rice roll recipe is a traditional Cantonese style rice roll, using stone-ground pure rice.
Using the pulping method and specially formulated soy sauce, the rice rolls are smooth and chewy, and the soy sauce is salty and delicious!
Ming Kee Rice Roll Rice Roll This is also the snack shop I go to most often!
When I used to go to Liwan Lake Park to play as a child, I would go to Ming Kee to eat beef sausage and boat porridge. This is a standard lunch, and the portion is generous!
The most important thing is that it tastes so good!
Juedai is the essence and representative of local taste!
