The number of passengers at Schiphol Airport has decreased by nearly 80% and the number of flights has also decreased by 75%. Schiphol Airport is gradually reducing its operation scale and keeping it open all day.
It is open to passenger flights in and out of Hong Kong, flights returning to Dutch citizens, freight services, emergency services and alternative aircraft. We will continue to pay close attention to the changes in the number of passengers and flights, adjust the airport operation status in time, and do our best to provide the best service for airlines and passengers.
The Dutch Supreme Court ordered
The smoking areas of all restaurants in the Netherlands must be closed, so Schiphol Airport closed the smoking areas of all restaurants in the airport.
In September last year, the Supreme Court of the Netherlands ordered the closure of smoking areas in all restaurants, which took effect immediately. To this end, Schiphol Airport designated some smoking areas as "public" areas, which existed independently of restaurants. However, now the airport is determined to change its concept and build a completely smoke-free terminal.
