Moxi Ancient Town is located in Moxi Town, Luding County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is located in the south of Luding County, Garze Prefecture, to the east of the Gongga Mountain Scenic Area, and is the entrance to the Hailuogou Glacier Forest Park. Moxi Ancient Town has a relatively complete old town and ancient district, which is a complex of ancient residential buildings from the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. The church, the blend of Chinese and Western culture gives the ancient town a unique scenery.

As early as 1935, Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and others temporarily stayed at the Catholic Church in Moxi Town, where they held the famous Moxi Conference on the Long March and decided that the troops would pass through Luding. Bridge, there are now cultural relics and historic sites such as Mao Zedong's former residence and Catholic church built locally, which are very well preserved.

Luding Bridge is a national key cultural relic protection unit with a history of more than 300 years. The inscription was written by Kangxi himself, and it is the choke point of transportation between Sichuan and Tibet.
