Add an egg, salt, pepper, light soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped green onion to the purchased minced pork and stir clockwise until it forms a ball.
Add water to the glutinous rice and steam until cooked in a rice cooker (this step is very important. The glutinous rice must be neither soft nor hard. If it is too wet, it will look like porridge, and if it is too dry, it will not form a ball)
Put the cooked glutinous rice out while it is hot, put it in a clean basin, and stir in an appropriate amount of flour to help the glutinous rice form into a ball.
Knead the flour and glutinous rice gently. Do not crush all the glutinous rice, just knead it into a ball. You do not need to smooth the dough, you need to keep the graininess of the rice.
Shape into small pieces, wrap the meat filling in the same way as glutinous rice balls, seal and press into cake shape.
Heat the oil pan until the bottom of the pan is full and just add a little more. When the oil pan is hot, put the prepared glutinous rice cakes into the pan and fry until both sides are golden brown.
Tips
In order to maintain the graininess of the glutinous rice, please do not knead the dough too hard, as long as the dough can be formed
