(1) The main causes of school fire accidents
1. Pulling temporary lines in violation of regulations and being close to flammable or combustible materials, resulting in fire due to low insulation performance and short circuit;
2. Illegal use of electric heating appliances, such as electric furnaces and electric heaters, causes circuit overload and fire;
3, burning letters and other sundries, out of control or leaving kindling, igniting surrounding combustible materials and causing fire;
4. Light a candle on the bed, and accidentally ignite the surrounding combustible materials to cause a fire;
5. Smoking in bed or littering cigarette butts and matchsticks before they are extinguished will ignite the surrounding combustibles and cause a fire;
6, illegal use of various cookers, igniting the surrounding combustible materials and causing a fire;
7. Violating the experimental operation rules in the experimental class, resulting in overload of electrical equipment or lines and fire;
8, electrical equipment aging, overload electricity caused by fire;
9. The building or equipment is poorly grounded, and lightning strikes cause fire.
(2) How to prevent fire accidents
1. Every teacher, student and employee in the school must first consciously abide by various fire laws and regulations and the school's fire safety management system to enhance their awareness of fire safety.
( 1) Do not connect the temporary wires without permission. Connecting temporary wires can easily lead to overload of power supply lines and fire;
( 2) Do not use electric furnaces, electric heaters and other electric heating equipment in public places such as dormitories, because these electric heating equipment use a large amount of electric power, which may easily lead to overload of power supply lines and fire;
( 3) Do not use cooking stoves such as gas stoves and alcohol stoves in public places such as dormitories. Because the dormitory is small and there are many flammable items, a slight negligence will lead to a fire;
( 4) Don't light candles and read books in the dormitory. The lights-out time in the dormitory is already late. If you are tired and fall asleep after reading more wax, candles will easily ignite combustibles such as mosquito nets and cause fires.
( 5) Smoking in bed, littering cigarette butts and match sticks. It is easy for people to fall asleep when lying in bed, and unfinished cigarette butts or match stalks fall on combustible materials such as bedding, which is easy to cause fires;
( 6) Don't burn sundries indiscriminately. When the kindling left in the burning sundries is out of control, it is easy to cause fire;
( 7) Do not put the desk lamp near combustible materials. The table lamp is ignited for a long time, and the lamp holder is hot and close to combustible materials, which is prone to fire;
(8) Pay attention to power failure when people walk. When people leave the room, they should turn off the electrical switch, unplug the power plug and ensure that the electrical appliances are completely cut off.
