Reprinted from Baijiahao Author: There are many kinds of Yunduo gourmet wine. In addition to the rice wine or white wine that we often encounter in life, there are also various health-preserving wines, some with very low alcohol content. Drinking them in moderation is good for your health. Apple cider is
Such a wine.
Today I will teach you how to make apple cider at home.
Materials apples, white sugar (or rock sugar), glass jar Method 1. When making wine, the glass jar must be kept clean, and the glass jar should be wiped dry after cleaning.
2. After washing the apples, drain the water and do not peel them. We need the microorganisms on the skin to help fermentation.
3. Core the apple and cut into thin slices of even size.
4 Repeat the order of one layer of apples and one layer of sugar into the glass jar.
Until the entire glass jar is filled with sugar and apples. Because we cut the apples into thin slices before, the apples will shrink a little after they come into contact with the sugar. It will look like there are very few apples, but it doesn't matter.
In order to prevent air leakage, put several layers of plastic sheeting or plastic wrap on the bottle cap when closing it.
If possible, you can also put a label with the date on it, so that you won't get the time wrong and fail.
However, something unexpected happened when I was doing it. The water in the apples leached out very quickly.
It had only been one night and a lot of water had soaked out, and the apples had shrunk very badly. (So in the end I could only cut another apple in the morning. Before that, the apples had shrunk a bit more than I expected, and the whole bottle was missing.
Nearly one-third! So everyone should pay special attention to the selection of apples and be sure to match their own jars.) 5 Next, ferment the apples.
Put our glass jar in a place where the temperature is about 25 degrees, and the cider will produce some bubbles in about 2 to 3 days.
As time goes by, the number of bubbles will increase until it reaches a peak stage. When the peak state passes, the bubbles will slowly decrease until they disappear completely.
At this point, if successful then the main fermentation of the cider is ready.
How to judge whether the fermentation is successful? Open the lid and smell it. If there is a faint aroma of wine, it means the first fermentation stage is successful.
6. After completing the previous step, pour the cider into another glass bottle and drink it after about one to two months.
The alcohol content of cider is not high, so it is relatively difficult to store. If you make too much at one time and can't finish it, you can add a little more liquor to it.
The above are some methods of making cider. In fact, many wine brewing processes require certain methods and techniques. Only in this way can the wine brewed be more nutritious and healthy, and more beneficial to our health.
Good health and wellness.
