(1) Pick peaches

Generally, flat peach wood will be chosen as raw material. Peach wood is of good quality and has few scars. The produced mahogany crafts are smooth and clean, and the age of the trees should be between 15-20 years, and the wetter the wood, the better, because the wet mahogany is not easy to dry.

(2) Saw board

The thickness of the red board depends on the handicraft. First, cut off the branches and cracked parts with a saw, then cut the wood into 20 cm pieces, saw the bent trunk from the bend and take the straight part in the middle. The plate must be straight to ensure the machining accuracy. Put the sawn board aside for use.

(3) soaking

After sawing the board, soak it in clear water. When soaking, the height of the water can be as long as it is not above the board. Soak 15-20 days.

(4) Boiling and scalding

In order to prevent the board from cracking, the board should be boiled and blanched after soaking. If the water doesn't pass the board, press a few big stones on the board to prevent the board from floating up.

(5) drying

First, put the cooked plates into the drying oven, leaving a gap of one centimeter between the plates, so that the hot air is evenly distributed. Turn on the power switch, set the temperature, light a fire in the oven next to it, and the drying oven will gradually heat up. Bake for about 15 days, keep the high temperature for about 8 days, and then decrease day by day.
