Eating is a unique culture of China people. People eat on birthdays, talk about business, and eat red things for nothing. In the concept of China people, eating at the same table is a way of communication.

Even after a festival, we can eat different kinds of food: dumplings on the Lantern Festival, zongzi on the Dragon Boat Festival, moon cakes on the Mid-Autumn Festival, and jiaozi (glutinous rice balls) on the winter solstice, not to mention all kinds of special holiday delicacies.

However, the New Year's Eve is the most important and different one.

I have been busy for a whole year, and I have to go home for the New Year if I have money or no money, because it represents reunion.
