Hello!
My name is Yan Zicong, and I am a 1-year-old sunshine boy. I live in a beautiful city-Quancheng Jinan. I am now a student in Class 3, Grade 5, Primary School Affiliated to Jinan Normal University. My specialty is painting, and I won the first prize in many national youth painting and calligraphy competitions.
Our school is located in the northern half of Jinan, with a history of more than one hundred years. Although our school covers a small area, it is neat and beautiful. We have two teaching buildings, one is Zhuchen Building and the other is Xianlin Building. In our school, a variety of campus activities are held every year, such as: Reading Festival, Art Festival, Spring and Autumn Games, New Year's Day get-together ... We also often receive teachers and classmates from home and abroad to visit our affiliated elementary school.
Every Wednesday afternoon is the happiest time for our classmates, because we can choose our favorite comprehensive practical courses to study during this period. They include chorus clubs, dance clubs, basketball clubs and knitting clubs. . . This semester, our school also launched the activity of "charming parents into the classroom". Versatile parents came into our classroom and taught us some knowledge and skills such as pastry making, fish tank management and manual making.
My family is a happy family of three. My father is a network engineer. He is conscientious and responsible for his work. My mother is a full-time mother. She gave up her job and sacrificed her time, and has been taking care of my life and study in every possible way. My father and mother love me very much. On weekends, if my father is not busy with work, he will take my mother and me to the parks in the city. During the long vacation, my father will take us to travel all over the country. I hope that one day, I can go to Tibet and see the famous Mount Everest, Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon and Potala Palace.
My hometown Jinan has three famous scenic spots: Qianfo Mountain, Baotu Spring and Daming Lake. There are other major tourist attractions such as quancheng square, Black Tiger Spring and Wulongtan. We Jinan people are simple, kind and hospitable, and welcome people from all over the world to visit Jinan.
In class today, the teacher told us that our school will carry out the activity of "hand in hand, pairing" with yours. I think, when you come to Jinan, I must show you around our spring city Jinan. I can take you to climb the high Qianfo Mountain, to see the famous Baotu Spring, to enjoy the lotus flowers in Daming Lake, to watch the lotus music fountain in quancheng square, and to taste the special snacks in Furong Street. At the same time, my parents and I also welcome you to stay in my house for a few days and taste the delicious food cooked by my mother.
