Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, also known as Wuyi, is a prefecture-level city in Guangdong Province. It is an important node city in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and one of the central cities in the west of the Pearl River Delta. Jiangmen City is located in the south-central part of Guangdong Province, in the west of the Pearl River Delta, bordering Shunde District of Foshan City, Zhongshan City and Doumen District of Zhuhai City in the east, Yangdong District of Yangjiang City and Yang Chun City in the west, Xinxing County of Yunfu City, Gaoming District and Nanhai District of Foshan City in the north, and the South China Sea, Hong Kong and Macao in the south. It belongs to the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration and the Pearl River Economic Circle. It is divided into 122 county-level administrative regions, including 65 municipal districts, 2 county-level cities, 34 counties and 3 autonomous counties. Guangdong province has determined Shunde district as a pilot project of directly administering counties. Shunde District enjoys the administrative law enforcement authority of prefecture-level cities, which will be directly assessed by Guangdong Province and scored separately.
