Daze Town is located in the central and western part of Xinhui District. It is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in Xinhui. It borders Huicheng Town to the east, Qibao Town to the south, Siqian Town to the west, and Heshan City and Duruan Town to the north.

As of 2012, the town has a total population of 40,144 and more than 30,000 overseas residents. It has jurisdiction over 14 village committees and 1 community neighborhood committee.

In 2012, Daze Town's GDP was 1.806 billion yuan, fixed asset investment was 986 million yuan, and the per capita net income of rural residents was 11,330 yuan.

Daze Town won the Xinhui District Town-Level Economic and Social Development Award, Advanced Unit for Investment Promotion, Advanced Town for the Creation of Spiritual Civilization, and Advanced Unit for Petitions and Stability Maintenance.
