Dalian City was founded at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China. It only has a history of more than 100 years, which is far less ancient than Lushunkou, a municipal district in the south.

Lushun faces Shandong Province across the Yellow and Bohai Sea. It is one of the birthplaces of Dalian's modern culture and a famous tourist attraction. It is a place where people vacation on weekends and holidays. It is said that many tourists from the south and tourists from Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces buy houses here and come here for seasonal vacations.

The most suitable way to travel to Lushun is to travel by car, or rent a taxi to visit various scenic spots all the way. Because Lushunkou area is large and the scenic spots are relatively scattered, taking a bus is a waste of time and it costs a lot to take a taxi to one place.

When traveling to Lushun, you must visit the Lushun Museum. This museum is located on Lenin Street and opened in 1917. It has more than 60,000 cultural relics, of which more than 200 are national first-class protected cultural relics.

This museum has a main building, a branch building, the Sino-Soviet Friendship Tower and other buildings, with a strong Russian style.

Another must-visit attraction in Lushunkou District is Lushun Railway Station.

Lushun Station is now out of operation. This Russian-style station with yellow walls and green tiles has been the memory of generations of Lushun people. It is now a check-in spot for Internet celebrities. Many tourists like to come here to take literary and artistic or fresh-style travel photos.

Lushun Railway Station was built in 1898 and put into operation in 1903. It is one of the earliest railway stations in my country.

This railway station was designed by Tsarist Russian designers. For a long time before 2014, it was a secondary station on the train line and transported a large number of passengers.

In April 2014, Lushun Station ended its historical mission and no longer transported passengers. Every section of its railway track silently tells the story of the past.

Wanrong Tower is located in the Golden Mountain of Lushun. It was the temporary residence of the last empress Wanrong when she went to Dalian to reunite with Puyi. Most tourists don't know that, and tour groups will not come here. We were led by a local driver who was familiar with the road so that we would not miss it.

Wanrong Building is a small foreign-style building that is now abandoned.

The western-style building is surrounded by lush forests, which is suitable for summer vacation. It can be seen that the location of the building is still very good.

Because it has been uninhabited for a long time, the front of Wanrong Building is overgrown with weeds, but the areas without grass are very clean.

Time flies, and the experience of the last queen has evolved from historical facts to drama. The authenticity of the plots in film and television works is a matter of opinion.
