The background of the story is that during the Battle of Songhu, the Kuomintang troops in China have been defeated and withdrawn from Shanghai, and Xie Jinyuan, deputy head of the 524th Regiment of the 262nd Brigade of the 88th Kuomintang Division, led the remnants to stick to Siping Warehouse.
