I booked a B&B in Shajiabang Scenic Area online in advance: Jiangnan Luhua Bay.

In the afternoon, when you arrive at the Luyi Resort Hotel at the entrance of Shajiabang Scenic Area to check in, a battery car will be sent to the B&B in the scenic area.

The peak season ticket for Shajiabang Scenic Area (June to November) is 100 yuan, and the off-season ticket (from December to May) is 70 yuan.

The battery car in the scenic area is 25 yuan/person.

However, as long as you stay in a B&B in a scenic area, you are free of entrance fees to the scenic area and battery car transportation fees.

The most beautiful thing about Shajiabang is the reed marsh.

When you come to Shajiabang Scenic Area, the most unmissable experience is to sit on a hand-cranked boat and travel through the reed maze.

On the pier, there are many hand-operated boats lined up, and the blue calico of the Jiangnan water town is set against the green lake.

The cost of the hand boat is 40 yuan/person, which is very cost-effective.

The boat ladies wear bamboo hats and blue calico clothes, full of Jiangnan artistic conception.

Mom and dad got on the hand-cranked boat and chatted with the boat girl about their daily life.

The weather was very good that day. In fact, it would be more interesting to take the boat on a rainy day.

The boat rocks slowly and slowly.

The boat girl also sings ditties in the local dialect, which feels really good.

The hand-operated boat passed through countless bridge holes. The people on the bridge looked at us, and we looked at them on the boat, becoming each other's scenery.

The B&B where we stayed that night: Jiangnan Luhuawan, just opposite Hengjing Old Street and just across a bridge.

One of the great experiences of staying in a B&B in a scenic area is that when the tourists disperse in the evening, you can have the luxury of staying in the scenic area.

The place our family stayed that night was called Luhua Villa. There are four independent villas here, which are very private and do not disturb each other.

The building we live in is called "Party Courtyard" and has three rooms: 8211, 8212, and 8213.

What I like most is having a big yard, full of greenery, and only we can use this yard.

Walking in the yard, the greenery of summer adds to the good mood.

That evening, I took advantage of the heat to dissipate, chatting, drinking tea, and reading in the yard. I didn’t want to go anywhere, I just wanted to stay home.

This is the first room, a master bedroom.

There are large areas of floor-to-ceiling glass on both sides, and the lighting is very good.

The roof is also sloping and high, giving it a strong sense of space.

I like this rocking chair beside the bed. It’s very high-quality and I can sit in it and read a book for a long time.

The bathtub in the master bedroom is by the window, and the wet and dry bathrooms are separated. The shape of this mirror is very unique.

It was probably the first time for my mother to stay in such a nice room, so I took a photo of her as a souvenir.

This is the second room, where my parents stayed that night, and it’s also super big.
