The scenic spot for peacocks flying in Xishuangbanna is in Xishuangbanna Primeval Forest Park.

Xishuangbanna Primeval Forest Park is located east of Jinghong and north of the Lancang River, 8 kilometers away from the state capital. It is the closest primeval forest to Jinghong City in the entire state. The park has projects such as ravine rainforest, peacock flying, folk songs and dances, food, water splashing carnival, etc. It is one of the largest comprehensive eco-tourism attractions in Xishuangbanna.

The park was created on the basis of 25,000 acres of tropical ravine rainforest. The forest coverage rate in the park exceeds 98%, making it a natural oxygen bar. The fashionable life concept with nature, ecology, environmental protection, leisure, health, etc. as the main elements is reflected through the national customs cultural season in winter, the peacock cultural season in spring, the rainforest cultural season in summer and the national costumes in autumn.
