Food Story is an animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studio and released by Walter Disney Film Company in 2007. The film was directed by Brad Bird, who replaced jan pinkava as director in 2005. Its English name ratatouille comes from a French dish of the same name Ratatouille (vegetable chowder). According to Pixar tradition, a long animated film is usually preceded by a 5-minute computer animated short film, which is shown before this film. Food Story is the first animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studio after it was acquired by Disney. Due to the strong appeal of Pixar Animation Studio, by the end of 2007 10, the box office in North America had exceeded $200 million and the box office in the world had exceeded $500 million.
