If I think it is close, it travels to the four extremes; if I think it is far away, it is always at my side; if I think it is dark, its light is clear; if I think it is bright, it is dim.

And the heaven and earth are made possible, the thunder is harmonized, and the things in the universe are accomplished by relying on it.

The emotions of ordinary people are uncontrollable and formless, they are soft and weak at any time, and they correspond to the principles.

All things must die, and all things must be alive; all things must be defeated, and all things must be successful.

The Tao is like water. Those who drown will die if they drink too much, and those who are thirsty will live if they drink too much. They are like swords and halberds. A fool will bring disaster if he acts in anger, and a sage will be blessed if he punishes violence.

Therefore, it is obtained by death, it is obtained by life, it is obtained by defeat, and it is obtained by success.

A saint's travels in the world do not have any harm to others. If he has no intention of harming others, he will be harmed by no one. If he does not harm others, he will not be prepared for others.

The difficult things in the world must be done with ease, and the great things in the world must be done with details.

An embankment of a thousand feet will be destroyed by the dens of ants; a room of a hundred feet will be burned by smoke from the gaps.

Therefore, it is said: When Bai Gui walks on the embankment, his holes are plugged, and when his father-in-law's careful fire also covers the gaps.

Therefore, Bai Gui has no water troubles, and his father-in-law has no fire troubles.

All of these are cautious and easy to take refuge in, and respect for those who are careful and far-sighted.

I heard that in ancient times Bian Que cured his illness by stabbing his bones with a knife; that a saint saved his country from danger by brushing his ears with loyalty.

It bites the bones, so a small pain is in the body, and long-lasting benefits are in the body; it brushes the ears, so a small rebellion is in the heart, and long-lasting happiness is in the country.

Therefore, a person who is seriously ill can benefit from enduring pain, and a strong and determined king can brush his ears with blessings.

If you endure the pain, Bian Que will be skillful; if you brush your ears, Zixu will not lose.

The art of longevity and safety.

If you don't bear the pain when you are sick, you will lose the skill of Bian Que; if you don't brush your ears when you are in danger, you will lose the will of a saint.

In this way, long profits will not fall far away, and fame will not be established soon.

The master's Tao is loyal to the law, and the law is loyal, so he treats it when he sees it, and thinks about it when he gets rid of it.

Yao did not make a pact with glue and paint, but he was virtuous in the current world, and Shun did not place a cone in the future, and he was virtuous in the future.

Those who can establish the Tao in the past and value virtue in all ages are called Mingzhu.

The legislation of the sage king is such that its rewards are enough to encourage good deeds, its power is enough to defeat violence, and its preparations are enough to complete the law.
