Located in Pingluo County, Ningxia, 56 kilometers away from Yinchuan City, it is one of the 35 ace scenic spots in China. Shapotou Scenic Area has both the beauty of the water town in the south of the Yangtze River and the magnificence of the desert in the northwest, especially the Yellow River in the desert, the miracle of sand control and the "Shapotou Bell". There are yurts in the camp to provide accommodation. You can also choose to rent a tent for camping, and the cost is about 20 yuan/night.

Yellow River Tour Route: Take a speedboat from Shapotou to the starting point of drifting, and then take a sheepskin raft down the river to Shapotou.

Western Xia imperial tombs

Also known as Xixia Mausoleum and Xixia Mausoleum, known as the "Oriental Pyramid", it is located at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain in the western suburb of Yinchuan, about 35 kilometers away from the urban area. It is the location of the imperial mausoleum of Xixia. The length of the mausoleum is10km from north to south and 4km from east to west. There are nine imperial tombs and 140 tombs of princes and ministers, covering an area of nearly 50 square kilometers. Influenced by Buddhist architecture, Xixia Mausoleum organically combines Han culture, Buddhist culture and Tangut national culture, forming a unique cemetery architectural form in China.

Xixia Mausoleum is large in scale and reasonable in layout. Each mausoleum is an independent and complete architectural group, facing south, in a vertical rectangle with the same scale as the Ming Tombs. There are two scenic spots that can be visited at present: Haowangling and Shuangling.

In order to reproduce the charm of that year, acousto-optic devices have been set up in the mausoleum area. When night falls, everything is silent, and the lights from the ground are yellow and blue, shining on the tombs, turrets and sacred walls, just like the fairy world.
