Yudong Old Street is located at the intersection of Tan Jian and the Yangtze River on the south bank of the Yangtze River, starting from Longzhou Bay in the east and reaching Yudong New Bridge in the west, with a total length of about 1.2 km. After three years of renovation, Yudong Old Street was officially opened on 20th161kloc-0/October 12. In order to rejuvenate the old street, the local government started the restoration project of Yudong Old Street on 20 13. "The renovation of dilapidated houses in the old streets is mainly based on restoration." Du Minghua, chairman of Chongqing Minghua Construction Group, the contractor of the restoration project, said.
Under the principle of "repairing the old as the old", the renovation fully explores the unique Ba cultural landscape elements of the old street, imitates the spatial form of Cuba's front yard, backyard and quadrangle, and uses natural stone, wood and other building materials to integrate into the traditional culture of the old street, creating a comprehensive old street integrating business, leisure and recreation, and retaining the original charm of the old street.
The whole Laojie Commercial Street covers an area of about 55 mu, with a construction area of 38,000 square meters. It was built on the basis of the "Banan House" project for sale. Together with the high-rise shops in Banan Prefecture, the high-rise buildings in Banan Prefecture and the Peninsula Mansion in Hualong Prefecture of Ming Dynasty, it forms a residential business cluster, in which six theme areas are planned: theme dining area, bar entertainment area, courtyard leisure area, folk market area, specialty shopping area and natural history exhibition area.
