Preface I’ve always wanted to make cheese scones, but I only had string cheese at home.
Today I couldn't help but try this chive-flavored salty scone with this brushed cheese. It felt okay. It didn't have the stringy effect, but it had the aroma of cheese.
Such a big one, I only ate one piece, and all the children finished it. She loved eating this so much!
Ingredients: 65g cake flour; auxiliary materials: 10g unsalted butter, 1g salt, 0.5g sugar, 1g yeast, 18g brushed cheese, 20g milk, 8g chives, a small amount of egg liquid, a few drops of corn oil, handmade gourmet chive cheese sauce
Kang 1 All the ingredients (I mixed the milk and yeast together, and mixed the butter into the flour).
2 Put the flour, cheese, sugar, salt, and chives in a container.
3Slowly add milk.
4 Mix all the ingredients and knead into dough.
5 Roll the dough into a rectangle.
6 Fold both sides, then roll it into a rectangle, repeat twice (this will make it more layered when baked).
7. Roll out the dough into a dough about 0.6 cm thick and cut it twice into cross shapes with a knife.
8 Place on a baking sheet (lined with greaseproof paper at the bottom), cover with plastic wrap and let rest for about fifteen minutes.
9 Apply a layer of egg liquid (add a few drops of oil to the egg liquid and mix well to bake it brighter), put it in the oven (preheat the oven in advance), bake at 160 degrees up and down for ten minutes, then cover it with tin foil and bake it
Bake for five minutes.
Tips 1. Due to the different amounts of flour and water, the milk can be added slowly, and the milk can be added or reduced depending on the situation.
2. Roll the dough into a rectangular shape, fold it and then roll it out, so that it will be more layered when baked.
