Shanglinhu kiln site

Shanglinhu Yue Kiln Site is one of the main producing areas of Yue Kiln celadon. Because the ancient land belongs to Yuezhou, it is named Yueyao. The firing of celadon in the Yue Kiln of Shanglin Lake began in the Eastern Han Dynasty, flourished in the Tang and Five Dynasties, and extended to the Song Dynasty. The celadon of the kiln in Shanglin Lake is deeply loved by all countries in the world. Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, it has been exported to Korea, Japan, Arabia and other countries and regions through Mingzhou (Ningbo) port. In India, Iran, Egypt, Japan and other countries, celadon artifacts made by Yuelin Lake and Shanglin Lake have been unearthed successively, which has become a bridge and messenger for foreign trade and cultural exchanges in ancient Ningbo.
