Hongping Gallery is located in the middle of Shennongjia and consists of eighteen peaks, seven ridges, four villages, eight rocks, nine rocks, six caves, three waterfalls, seven rivers, five pools and seven bridges.
Strange, weird, dangerous, beautiful, in various shapes and forms.
In the 1970s, the famous painter Zhang Bu sketched here. In the 1980s, the famous painter Luo Guoshi painted a 150-meter-long large-scale painting "The Wonders of Shennongjia" here. The works of the two painters have been exhibited in Japan, the United States, Canada and other places.
It aroused a strong response, and Hongping Gallery has since become famous all over the world.
Hongping Gallery starts from Changshan Dam and ends at the majestic Hongqi Rock.
Changshan Dam is located on the east-west ditch of Hongping. The cliff to the west of the dam is the "Sword Rock", which is towering and horizontal, forming a "T" shape with the Hongping River. There is a flower "stone pillar" on the cliff, which looks like a broken sword.
, inserted on the cliff, the stone pillar is also called "Zhao Wang Sword".
It is said that when King Zhao of Zhou Dynasty was attacking Chu, he passed by Shennongjia and encountered a turtle blocking the way. He drew his sword and killed the turtle. The turtle was so angry that he used the shell of the turtle to throw the sword into the sky and flew into the rock.
The two flowing springs in the East and West ditches are like half-ring jade belts, bypassing Baojian Rock and flying down into "Fangchao Gorge".
The gorge spits out waterfalls and falls into the small pool stream. On both sides of the pool, there are strange spiral-shaped rocks standing on each side. The strong pines on the rocks are like umbrellas, and their shadows are reflected in the pool. It is called "Ying Umbrella Pool".
There is a small bridge built on the pool. You can lean on the railing and look up at the strange peaks with the cave entrance open, which is quiet and leisurely.
From the bottom of the ditch to the entrance of the cave, you can see the original vegetation hanging down like tassels.
Entering the cave is like walking into a lovesick dream, your soul is like the wind.
There is a shining vertical hole in the cave, which is called the "Patio Cave".
Whenever the red sun sets on the mountain, the colorful rays of light come from the sky cave and are reflected on the gurgling dark stream. The golden waves flash, the spirit is flying, and the cool breeze blows.
The Tianjing Cave is also known as the "Fairy Cave" because the entrance of the cave is opposite the "Fairy Peak". On a moonlit night, if you stand at the entrance of the cave and look at the peak, it will look like a singing and dancing fairy falling from the sky, which is lifelike.
