Taiwanese people eat fish dumplings, meat dumplings and cabbage to symbolize reunion and prosperity.

There are many types of dumplings depending on their fillings and preparation methods.

Even though they are the same kind of dumplings, there are different ways to eat them: Daur people in Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang cook dumplings in vermicelli broth and then eat the dumplings with the soup; some areas in Henan put dumplings and noodles together
