Students, have you heard of Wulong River?
The Wulong River passes through my hometown Laiyang City.
The scenery here is beautiful and the products are rich.
In early spring, the mountains and plains turn green, and beautiful wildflowers dress up the hills and grasslands.
At this time, it is the season when locust flowers are in bloom. Strings of white silver flowers hang on the branches, exuding a rich fragrance.
At this time, the beekeeper eagerly opened the beehive and let the bees collect flowers and make honey.
Standing on the red clay cliff four kilometers southeast of the city, looking at the ten thousand acres of pear orchards and the vast snowfields, the scene is extremely spectacular.
This is a major scenic spot in Laiyang - "Spring Snow on Danya".
"Thousands of pear blossoms are turned over, thousands of trees are covered with snow, and one stream of willows and one stream of smoke", this famous line left by Zhao Feisheng, an ancient poet, is a wonderful portrayal of the spring snow on Danya.
In summer, Wulong River becomes a natural bathing place for people.
Adults and children come here in groups to play in the water, and fish also come to join in the fun. When you are not paying attention, they will secretly sweep you with their tails, and then they will slip away immediately, and you will not be able to catch them in time.
When people are tired from playing, they come to the small melon shed by the river. If you eat the red flesh watermelon and the rich fragrance of the melon, it will make you forget your fatigue.
Autumn is the most beautiful season here.
The sorghum is like a drunken red-faced man, and the golden ears of grain are crowded together with shoulders and ears. The persimmon trees all over the hillside are hung with persimmons like lanterns. The grapes under the grape trellis are crystal clear and oily.
Apple blushed.
The tens of thousands of acres of pear orchards along the Wulong River are blessed by the Wulong River, allowing every pear tree to bear abundant fruits. This is the Laiyang pear.
Laiyang pear has a particularly high sugar content, fresh and tender flesh, sweet as honey, fragrant and delicious, and has the functions of moistening the lungs, reducing phlegm and relieving coughs.
No wonder Japan's famous fruit research expert calls Laiyang pear the king of pear.
Autumn is the season when the fat Wulong carp is on the market, and the tanks in the fish market are filled with lively Wulong carp.
Wulong carp is yellow in color and delicious, and has been famous from ancient times to the present.
When people worship their ancestors, they often use five-dragon carps as sacrifices, and they are indispensable for grand banquets.
The severe cold winter has arrived, and a thick layer of ice has formed in the river, and the ice surface stretches into the distance like a white ribbon.
At this time, Wulong River is a natural "skating rink" for students.
Decorated with white snow, the towering mountains on both sides of the Taiwan Strait look even more majestic and spectacular.
In addition to Laiyang pear and Wulong carp, my hometown also has Laiyang ginseng, Laiyang marble, etc.
There are also many places of interest in Laiyang, such as Danya Spring Snow, Wenbi Peak, etc.
