Douhu Lake is located on the southeast coast of Sabah, Malaysia, and the northeast coast of Cowie Bay in the west sea of Sulawesi. It is the capital of Douhu Province.

The town is divided into three districts: Sabindu, Fajia and Laodou Lake. The Federal Building is the main location of Malaysian government departments, such as Immigration Bureau and National Registration Bureau, located in Sabindu District. Legalism is the modern business circle of Douhu Lake, and Laodou Lake is the original area of Douhu Lake, with a central market and Douhu Port.

There are very large plantations in Douhu Lake, including rubber plantations, coconut plantations, cocoa plantations and oil palm plantations. Are planted on fertile volcanic ash mud. There are logging activities in mountainous areas, which are easy to enter.

Douhushan National Park is located 24 kilometers away from Douhu Lake. The main tourists on weekends are local residents. Mount Fombarlet is the cone top of a young extinct volcano, and the crater on the left can still be seen on the mountain. Dipterocarpus forest and abundant wild orchids were found in the lowlands. Occasionally you can see red-leaf monkeys and long-tailed macaques, big squirrels and forest turtles.
