The back is black or blue-black, with 30 ~ 50 narrow white or milky yellow stripes; The ventral surface is dirty and white. The head and back are dark brown, and the larvae have light inverted V-shaped spots on the pillow and back. The back is high, the cross section is triangular, and the tail end is sharp. The head is oval, which is not clearly distinguished from the neck. There are 9 large scales on the back of the neck, and there are no cheek scales. The ridge scales in the middle of the back expand into hexagonal shapes, and the scales under the tail are single-line.
