Green bean planting
Temperature, green beans like warm environment and are not frost-tolerant, so the optimum growth temperature is 20 to 30 degrees, and the temperature above 40 degrees or below 10 degrees is not suitable for their growth, especially in the seedling stage, which is extremely sensitive to this and can seriously lead to plant death.
Light, green beans are short-day plants, and their daily light demand is limited, so they can't stay in the sunshine environment for a long time. There are many varieties of green beans, and different varieties have different light demand. Moisture, green bean is a rare root system developed in vegetables. Its main root is thick and there are many lateral roots, which are more drought-resistant and afraid of waterlogging. Therefore, it is not advisable to water too much when planting. On the contrary, it should be drained in time in rainy season.
Soil, green beans are suitable for planting in loose and fertile humus soil with good drainage, and general sandy soil and slightly sticky soil can also grow normally, but not in low-lying soil which is easy to accumulate water. The soil should be neutral, not acidic or alkaline. Fertilization, green beans have a greater demand for nitrogen and potassium fertilizers, but less demand for phosphorus. When fertilizing, try to apply farmyard manure mainly based on nitrogen and potassium fertilizers.
Weeding scaffolding should be combined with loosening soil and weeding 1 2 times when the green bean vines begin to grow. When the plants are found to be overgrown, scaffolding should be set up in time to lead the vines, which is convenient and management. Pest control: when planting, choose varieties with good disease resistance, choose land that has not been planted with leguminous crops for more than two years, clean and disinfect the soil and seeds before planting, and deal with pests and diseases in time when they are found.
