About pak choi
Pak choy is also known as pak choi, also known as non-heading cabbage and green vegetables. It is native to my country and is distributed in the north and south. It is widely cultivated in my country.
Pakchoi is a plant of the mustard genus. The leaves are light green to dark green in color. The leaves are obovate or elliptical. The leaves are smooth or wrinkled, and a few have hairy leaves. The petioles are thick, white or green. No balls. The flowers are yellow and the seeds are nearly round.
Pak choi is relatively cold-tolerant and belongs to the taproot system. The root system is shallow in distribution, the leaves are tender, and the evaporation rate is large. It needs high soil moisture and air humidity. It has a short growth period and requires loose and fertile loam with easy drainage and irrigation. Or sandy loam soil is better, it needs more nitrogen, followed by potassium and less phosphorus.
