1. Seed selection and sowing
You can choose 83-38, Changhong No.2 and other fine varieties with four seasons. Before sowing, wrap the seeds with clean gauze, soak them in water and put them in the refrigerator for refrigeration. Low temperature treatment can last for half a month, which can improve the germination rate. When sowing, mix the seeds with plant ash and then scatter them in the soil. Sprinkle fine soil on the surface, then water it, cover it with film, and let it dry in the sun for 20-30 days.
Step 2 prepare the soil
Using loose soil, good air permeability and fertile soil, if possible, using humus soil from broad-leaved forest as matrix, water absorption and drainage are good. The conventional preparation method is to use garden soil, river sand and decomposed farm manure, mix them and sieve them with a sieve before use.
3. Planting treatment
When planting, select strawberry seedlings with good growth, cut off stolons and residual leaves, properly prune the root system to 10 cm, leave 2-3 young leaves, and transplant with the original soil. Dig a small hole the size of strawberry roots in the prepared soil, slowly put strawberry seedlings in it, pat the soil flat, and irrigate it with dried oxygen-rich water. Because there is chlorine in the raw water, it can't be used directly.
4. Late care
Temperature: The optimum temperature for strawberry growth is about 20-25℃, and it should be kept above 15℃ in winter.
Fertilization: Strawberry seedlings bearing fruit in four seasons, such as 83-38 and Changhong No.2, will blossom and bear fruit many times in one year, and need sufficient nutrients to maintain their growth. Therefore, fertilization management should be strengthened. Fertilization at seedling stage is mainly based on nitrogen fertilizer to promote the growth of stolons; It needs a lot of nutrients to promote flowering at flowering stage, mainly applying nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer; Applying more phosphate fertilizer at fruit-bearing stage can increase the yield, and applying more microelement foliar fertilizer to supplement microelements can make the fruit sweeter.
Pruning: during the growing period, cut off the overgrown stems of strawberry seedlings to make the plants ventilated and transparent. Old leaves and yellow leaves should also be cut off in time to reduce nutrient consumption.
