Tomato peeling method two:
With a small stainless steel spoon along the surface of the tomato scraping scraping, scraping a circle, gently tear, the skin is down.
Personal opinion using the second method of tomato peeling more practical, the first method may accidentally hurt the hand, so the second more convenient.
Tomato peeling tips:
Roast:
Stick a fork in the bottom of the tomato, put it on the fire for about 10 seconds or so, and the skin of the tomato will crack. Cool slightly for a few seconds, then tear off the outer skin with your hands; the peel is intact.
(Grilling, in my opinion, takes the least amount of time, peels off the most intact skin, and is the most convenient of the three methods!!!)
Cook:
Pour water into a pot, bring it to a boil over high heat and then add the tomatoes and cook for about 20 seconds or so, keeping turning the tomatoes over with a spoon so that all parts of the tomatoes can be scalded by the boiling water. Or put more water in the pot, not over the tomatoes.
Remove from the water and let cool for a minute before tearing off the skins, but they are still slightly hot to the touch and not easy to hold, and the tomatoes are a little slippery during the peeling process.
(Cooking, the time required, although not too long, but the time to boil water, time to cook tomatoes, plus cooling time, do the math, but also at least 5 minutes. And, also wasted a pot of water, and the gas bill ha, the money is not much, but day by day, it may not not be a scary number.)
Scraping:
Scraping with a spoon is also a method. The choice of spoon is more important; the edge of the spoon should not be too thin or too thick. For example, scraping with a tin spoon, tomatoes are easy to break; but if you use a white porcelain spoon for soup, the edge of the spoon is too rounded and smooth, very laborious. I think, stainless steel spoons and plastic spoons are good choices.
(Scrape: this method relative to the above two, seems to be the easiest, but for me, it is the most laborious of these three methods. When scraping, the strength should be mastered, scraping too lightly, the skin and flesh of the tomato can not play a role in separating, if the strength is too large, the skin is scraped, in the tearing of the time more trouble. Moreover, the place that can not be scraped, when tearing, to use a little bit of fingernail picking, very laborious.)
